Stuff to bring

<p>Toilet paper is supplised by most U housing; if not, there are decent stores where you can buy pretty much most staples. We bought most of the bulky stuff when we arrived in LA for our son's move from HI to CA instead of hauling all of it on the plane (the stores are just as good there as here). Here's a website with some suggestions on what to bring. It can be useful having your stuff shipped to arrive at your dorm IF your dorm allow packages to arrive before you (otherwise have them timed to arrive AFTER you do). We didn't bother & just brought up everything we thought essential & bought the rest. Stuff we forgot were easily sent up using the USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail Boxes @ $8.10/box. So far, we've sent our S 4 boxes or so. <grin> :)</grin></p>

<p>Don't worry--Davis has an outlet mall nearby & there are lots of stores in SF & Sacramento if you need things beyond what you can easily get in Davis.</p>
