I what to do something this summer that will look really good for college, but not be impossible to achieve, preferably some kind of charity thing. any ideas???

i think working would be great or volunteer

spending less time in front of the computer

Yea I'd have to agree, my choice to work the summer before my senior year I think was one of the best decisions I made and really helped out my application.

haha, very funny! but so far this summer i'm writing for an animal newsletter and volunteering @ Petsmart. anything else i can do that really stands out?!?!

Volunteer at a hospital? Become involved in a political issue that appeals to you?

hospital . . . good idea, i'll have to think about that one!

I'm voluntering in my State reps office MWF and in my local public access station T and TH in the morning. The Afternoon was supposed to be for me to get a regular job (and have some income). Too bad there is no work to be had at this point in the summer :(.

Learn to spell... just joking (sort of!).

edit:
Some places/things to help out for volunteering:
*hospitals
*animal shelters
*homeless shelters
*tutoring
*parks (clean up)
*community festivals
*libraries/museums
*family/relative businesses

This is the internets. We don't have time to spell check while on the webs.
