Uh…with all the amazing ECs you young CCers do, aren’t you too busy to be obsessing on CC and to be reaching to find new things to do this week to distract from M9? Regular sports, music, speech & debate, robotics, dance, theatre, etc…
- Watch High School Musical
- Buy a Hydro Flask!
- Read a really good book -- Personal recommendations are Scythe (futurish), Dune (science fiction, amazing and 800 pages long!!), Salt to the Sea (historical fiction), All the Light We Cannot See (also historical fiction), and One Of Us Is Lying (mystery -- could not stop reading, my parents had to force me to leave the house because all I wanted to do was read it) (I highly recommend the Burn for Burn series if you're into YA fiction or if you liked TATBILB. Or just reread any of your favorite books, that's what I've been doing)
- Watch (or rewatch) Friends (again 10 seasons, so will take up quite a bit of time!)
- Look at pre-college programs! I heard most have deadlines in March so it should take your mind off of M9
- Take up a new hobby!
- Cherish time spent with your family and friends because you'll be at boarding school soon! The last few months of the school year will be over before you know it
- Comment on CC!
- Planning on reading "The Willpower Instinct" to (at least try to) stop my procrastination (heard it's a good book for that lol)
- Buy a drone and fly it!!! I love my drone so much although I can't really fly it rn in NE weathers -Play Apex Legends -listen to a new musical! (recs include six(about henry VIII 6 wives) or the lightning thief) -watch marie kondo's netflix show and clean your room
- Complete the entirely of the video game run 3, it's completely addictive.
- Read The Hate U Give
- Eat too many milk chocolate Lindors (heavenly)
- Watch Veronica Mars in preparation for the reboot. It's such a good show! I just started my 8th grader on it and she's hooked (after telling me she was sure I was wrong and it would be terrible
- Watch my FAVORITE show of all time, Glee.
- play Tetris
- celebrate a weird holiday (like Chilli day)
- Explore THE GREAT OUTDOORS
- learn about something random (bridges, spoons, dinosaurs, whatever interests you)
- re-read Harry Potter for a billionth time
- Enter an essay contest!
- Learn the 20 most spoken words of 5 languages
- Bake a "death by chocolate" cake
- Pretend to be a time traveller
- Adopt a pet rock
- Watch: Seven Deadly Sins, Death Note, Magi (Both Labyrinth and Kindgom), Big Mouth, Black Panther, Fairy Tail, One-Punch Man, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Kagegurui, and Devilman Crybaby.

- Name said pet rock and give it a family. After all, even rocks deserve love.
- Make a rock pet family and take photos.
- Make a kingdom of pet rocks.
- Become the official monarch of the kingdom. Then set up a constitutional monarchy with a rock parliament.
- Since we are going way too off topic, we might as well start the industrial revolution of rocks. Steam, steel, anything.

- Run through the school's hallway and scream "AAAAA, M9 IS IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS, AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" (okay, maybe just do it in your head)
- watch "Dead Poets Society", arguably the best boarding school movie ever.
I can’t watch Dead Poets Society as SAS is my first choice and it stresses me out/gets my hopes up for no reason!!
(sorry that was slightly off topic)
@misslilbookworm Then, you can watch Harry Potter. I assume that none of us applied to Hogwarts.
No, I did! But I was waitlisted cuz I am muggle-born :))
I got straight rejected by Hogwarts I guess I have to go to school in New England now…
@HappyCria I’m still hoping for my letter to arrive by owl (shh…don’t tell them I’m fourteen, I can pass for an eleven year old…probably)
Honestly, I don’t think you have great chances. I mean, you only got a perfect score on your WSAT! And besides, you’ve played quidditch for 6 years, not 8.
lol but u would totally get into hogwarts
The WOMBAT is way more important though! I heard that even muggles can pass it (requires no charms or anything). Also, they don’t really do interschool Quidditch tournaments, they are more of a DADA-focused school.
and with what I’ve seen on the chances page, we’d all get accepted
@sparkatzz What about Ilvermorny? It’s not as old as Hogwarts, but it’s a really cool school. I heard they started using Harkness there.
No wonder, it’s in Massachusetts! But still though, Hogwarts is my dream school
