stuggle with UCR and CSLB

<p>hello everyone!
I am stuggling with which college to go, so please help me with this!!!
If my major is biochemistry and planning to become a pharmacist, should I go to
UC Riverside or Cal State Long Beach?
Please give me suggestions, I want to know which college will be better in the biochemistry major...Both college have their own advantages, so it's really hard to decide...
I had hear some of my friends said that I should go to CSLB since it's really difficult to get in, comparing to UCR...
Everyone, please help me with my important decision!!! I would like to hear you guys' opinions! Please give me as much as details as you can. Thank you!!!</p>

<p>P.S does anyone know what kind of races are more in UCR and in CSLB?</p>

<p>Cal State Long Beach is definitely one of the more selective Cal States. It’s cheaper than UCR as well. I was a student at Cal State and a UC and found it was much more difficult getting classes at a Cal State than UC. So, if it takes you 5 years to graduate from Cal State vs. 4 at UCR, cost savings are diminished. Visit both and then decide.</p>

<p>I don’t understand your races question. You mean in an ethnicity context? CSULB and UCR are among the most diverse colleges in the nation…both have a good balance, IMO.</p>
