<p>I'm worried. :(</p>

<p>Right, here are my stats:</p>

<p>Demographics: white male from New York
GPA: 4.45 W, 4.0 UW
SAT:
Best test - 2320 (780 CR, 800 M, 740 W)
Superscored - 2360 (I got 780 W on another test)
Subject Tests:
Chem: 770, World History: 770, Bio M: 800, taking Math 2 in October
AP: 5 in World History, waiting to get 3 more (Stats, Physics B, U.S. History) in the mail
ECs/Awards:<a href="these%20are%20sort%20of%20weak">/b</a>
**Rank: school doesn't rank, but my guidance counsellor said I'm most likely in the top 5 (my school is quite competitive for a public school)
Senior Year Courseload: AP Comp Sci A, AP Physics C, AP Calc BC, AP Euro, AP English Lang
• Over 150 hours volunteering as a junior EMT (I'm really passionate about this, and I plan to write that I want to continue this in college. I also have organized blood drives for the organization, washed the ambulances, did road clean-ups, marched in the local parade, etc.)
• Tutoring Coordinator for Mu Alpha Theta Junior Year
President of Mu Alpha Theta Senior Year (I actually do A LOT for this position, and I think my math teacher will attest to that when she writes my letter of recommendation. I've spent quite a few lunch periods doing things for the club.)
• National Honors Society (standard, of course)
• Third Place in National History Day (only regional) for the Documentary Category
• JSA (this helped me increase my public speaking ability and I learned to speak up more in class and express my opinion)
• This summer I'm shadowing technicians at my county government's computer department. I can already tell the woman who is the head of the department is going to write me a REALLY good letter of recommendation. I'm also getting paid for this job because I'm assisting in a project.
• Challenger Little League (assisting developmentally disabled children in learning to play baseball)
• Junior Patient Advocate for Nyack Hospital last summer (as you can see, I used to want to go into medicine)
• RPI Medal
• A myriad of other academic awards (English, Science, Math, etc.) and honor roll awards</p>

<p>I don't really have anything that amazing in my ECs, so that's why I'm slightly worried.</p>

<p>I'm going to apply for computer engineering at MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, UPenn, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Cooper Union, RPI (though I don't think I want to go here), Michigan definitely. Also, perhaps the University of Rochester and SUNY Buffalo. And if anyone has any other recommendations, I would appreciate them. :)</p>

<p>Uh wow. I nearly forgot…I’ve run cross country throughout all of high school.</p>

<p>Man, I really need to get my mind out of the gutter.</p>

<p>your scores are all within the range of Cornell and so I think that could be a match for you, plus it’s an amazing school.</p>

<p>SUNY Buffalo? That is a safety of no other kind for you.</p>

<p>I also think that your love of being a junior EMT is a wondering EC to have. It looks wonderful</p>

<p>having a sport is also really good. I don’t have any sports at all. eep</p>
