Okay, so when giving the envelopes for recs, I first of all don't have any idea what was going through my head, but my little cousin and I were writing out the envelopes and she put my address and name on the from section, also, for Exeter extra curricular recs and for sps, I forgot to tell my Asian club/studies and another teacher to SIGN THE FLAP ON THE BACK PRIOR TO MAILING IT.

SO now the schools will be getting envelopes that say my name and address on the from section and unsigned flaps for those two recs. What am I going to do? I am literally running around in circles over this, arms flailing and panicky.

Email the schools what went wrong and re-do the wrong part asap

The return address won’t matter, as long as the mail gets correctly delivered.
If there is a question about your recs, the schools will just pick up the phone and contact the teachers or your GC directly.
You can send an e-mail if it makes you feel better, but it is going to be just fine.

are you sure it won’t make it so they discount my recs? Because I certainly do not want THAT to happen.

I don’t think it’ll be a big deal, it’s just a small slip.
I agree with siliconvalleymom, if they have a concern, they’ll call.
The only thing I can suggest doing if you’re REALLY paniced would be to explain the situation to said teachers and purhaps have them email/call the school explaining that it was their error forgetting to sign and that the forms were in fact filled out by them.

Take a deep breath, it’s going to be fine. & Good luck with your applications!

I don’t think it will be that bad, since most schools have about 2000+ applicants and they don’t really have time to check for all the minutiae. I wouldn’t email the schools about the return address, because then they’d probably be more attentive around your application. As for Exeter flaps, I’d go with Samantha’s advice.

thanks guys, for helping me relax.
I told my teachers to email them and they did just that:) So, I’m back normal again:P
