Stupid FB question. Help? :(

hey so i recently added a college course to my "college education" section on facebook, but now it says "xxx studied at xxxxx college". i want it to revert back to "xxx studied at xxx high school" since i'm not exactly in college yet. solutions anyone? :(

thanks so much!!

Profile page > Edit Profile > Education and Work > x out what you want gone

Maybe?

thanks for replying!
i tried that, but i meant i wanted facebook to show that i took these courses at this college, but to still say “goes to xxx high school”?

facebook is messed up. btw are you like trying to brag you are taking courses at a certain college? people might take it like you are bragging

I’m almost positive that colleges trump high schools on Facebook and that you pretty much have to take it off altogether.

And, what he said. ^

i totally understand where you guys are coming from about the bragging, but my intention was just to build up my credentials and try to find an internship/work experience/shadowing next year amongst my network XD

thanks though!

Ohhh that makes sense. maybe if you set the graduating year to an earlier year (as in, earlier than your hs date)? idk. just mess around with the year and that should change SOMETHING.

the reason i said that was because i know if i had the same (good) intentions like you and put a prestigious college in my info, my “friends” would say:
“*** only you would say you are going to HARVARD. ugh”
“we already know you are smart!”
“pretentious. stop acting like you know it all.”

But that shouldnt stop you from doing what you are trying to do!!!
