To whoever is reading this: I am freaking out! For some odd reason, as I was filling out my application for various CSU campus locations to transfer (Bare in mind that i’m an international student), I completed the general (undergrad-transfer) application and sent in five of them already, as I was submitting my CSULB application, an error popped up, that said (error, international) I figured the deadline passed for their campus retaining visa holders and tried submitting another application to CSULA, following another error which basically said I needed to fill the international application & not the general undergrad-transfer one?! Does anyone have any knowledge of such circumstances? I already emailed all the schools to clarify, and also tried comparing both applications, which are completely identical with the sole difference of Passport info/Minor visa stuff. Are these grounds for rejection? In my general application, I state that i’m on an F-1 Student Visa, basically declaring my non-resident status as an intentional student. I just don’t understand why I didn’t receive the error before submitting my first application, let alone the other four that followed.
Update – I called in and a rep from SDSU reassured me that since I declared my resident status on the general application, the admissions department will sort it out and place me under international. If you’re facing the same issue, don’t beat yourself over it :). Apparently, it happens very often lol.
