<p>On the ucb calendar listed at Student</a> Calendar - Office Of The Registrar, it says semester begins august 22, but instruction begins august 29. I would think instruction begins on the day of the first semester. So when exactly should I arrive on campus and move in?</p>
<p>Your move in date depends on your residence hall assignment. You will be informed of your particular date when you get your room assignment. Move in dates are staggered over several days in an effort to control the chaos. </p>
<p>If you’re living off campus, plan to get moved in and ready to attend class on Aug 29.</p>
