<p>can I still send in a revised version of my essay to Yale for SCEA?!?!? OH gawd I've just given it a makeover for my RD apps and it's so much more beautiful than the one I sent for Yale. JUST in case I did make it into committee.... I want the adcoms to see this so much.</p>

<p>I don't think so. If there is a deadline, then it applies to everybody. Otherwise everybody will want to submit a new and improved essay.</p>
<p>If you get deferred, you can send additional information, including a new essay. Until then, you can't.</p>
