Stupid Question re PSAT Practice Tests

We've got 3 old tests from collegeboard. Son has begun to use them for practice before his 10/15 PSAT.

How does he check his answers? All we've got is the test. No way to score them.

What are we doing wrong?

Thanks.

i had the same problem. i called college board and spoke with a representative, she delievered the answers to me free of charge, but you have to call them.

Email CB for the answers. They will send you an email with the answers within a few days

Yes, email them, they will send you the answers and the scales as PDF files so that you can determine your scores. The email is store_help@collegeboard.com ...

Thank you all very much for your help.

Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous to sell practice tests without the answers?

Did your son register for the PSAT for 10/15?

It is being offered at my daughter's high school on 10/18. I keep asking her if she has heard anything about registration. She still has not.

At son's school, they register the kids. The kids don't have to do anything. Might be worth a call though.

Yes, my son registered. He's in 11th grade and had to proactively go to Guidance and sign-up. Last year it was automatic and mandatory for all sophomores, so registration required no effort on his part.

Thank you all for the info. Ironically, last night, my daughter came home with info re: the PSAT. We have to purchase a ticket for the test at the school through guidance...first come, first serve...$26.00 cash. I question why this is cash only.

UPDATE: I contacted the CB on Sunday evening and had the answer keys in my email before lunch on Monday.

We scored sons first practice and - assuming we did it right - he has gained
8 points in CR
3 points in M
10 points in W

Now the focus in Math.

Thanks again. :)
