What book should I use to self-study Environmental Science?

Textbook or AP review book?

Doesn't matter as long I can get a 5? Note:This also apply to me too!

Both if you know them.

What textbook and study prep do you recommend then? I need the names of them!

Bumping this...I'm curious as well.

I am self studying AP Environmental as well- I talked to my Bio teacher who is helping me study and he said the best AP Review book was The Smartypants' Guide to the AP Environmental Science Exam
by Michelle Mahanian. This review book is also on Ryan's Master list of AP Prep books for AP Environmental. I don't what the best textbook to use but i am using Environmental Issues: Measuring, Analyzing, Evaluating (2nd Edition)
by Robert L. McConnell, Daniel C. Abel
I hope this helps at all!
:)

you definitely need a textbook for environmental. The smartypants book is a nice review but in no way covers everything.

Then what text book should I use?

try looking around on amazon.com-there are kids who have taken AP Environmental and have created lists of the best books for studying-including I think textbook. That is how i found my textbook.

Barron's covers just about everything... But it's huge and overwhelming (then again, I really didn't start studying all that hard until 2 weeks before the test!)

APES is comparably easy for a self-study AP, and very easy for an AP Biology student.
