Stupid question...

Is there a summer A term to apply to? I'm getting worried about admissions now, since I've seen so many good rejections. Do you think I can get in next year with

ED, summer A?

With around a 4.0 UF GPA and ~1400 SAT

with like
3.0 freshmen year
4.0 soph year
4.8 junior year

editor in chief for senior year newspaper (set in stone)
foudner medical club
vp young democrats
newspaper staff 2 years (editorial editor)
treasurer art club
100+ hours hospital
100+ hours teen court attorney/juror
shadow local dentist/maxillofacial surgeon
shadow radiologist
shadow pediatric doctor

excellent recs

I don't think you could attend Summer A as a freshman, johnnytremain. This year, the semester starts on May 14, and you'll probably still be in school, just finishing up your senior year (in '08). It's probably why UF never mentions Summer A as an option in the application process. Your stats look really good, and if your essays are good, you'll probably have no problem getting in. Good luck to you!

Yeah summer A usually starts way too early.

Your fine.

go summer B, jennings dorm ; ) its how im goin

you forgot to mention that you're an apprentice silversmith. did you write your essay about the accident and how you overcame?

is there something im missing or do you just assume people are natural smiths?

Perhaps that is the stupid question of the thread.

is that directed at me or Ruo?

i'm not in IB at an IB school btw.

:C

johnny, don't worry about that. you are the ideal candidate for a college. how many people have accidents as severe as yours and are able to overcome it all, over depression and physical disability, and still make it to the top. You are my role model.
Can I ask, why didn't you put apprentice silversmith on the resume? Does it bring back bad memories?

hahahahhahahahahahaha

LAWL i remember that book

Ok yeah im lost
