<p>Columbia forbids you from doing this because they do not want to screw up how your application looks on their system(PDF format). Thus, type everything without pressing enter. It’s perfectly OK(and pretty hard NOT to unless you just have a one line answer :p) to have text that wraps around though, just so long as you don’t press enter.</p>
