stupid question

on the supplement for common app, when it asks you favorite books, films and music. When they say film, does that mean documentary or movie? Because I remember my history teacher correcting me that the WWII video we saw was not a movie but a film...

another stupid question: when it asks you for your favorite events, does it mean events that you've been part of? or can it be something like Euro 08

My guess is that it is a question about a "movie" or "film" using the definitions. Many ask about a favorite movie, song, etc. You need to understand the process not simply view things as questions needing answering. What does the school want to know, it is about you and what kind of person you are. That is what you are trying to show, like what drives you, what experiences have shaped you, what makes to an asset to the school. Your questions seem to miss that point to me.

I disagree, they want your personality profile, not just your ambitions
