<p>The colleges receive a midyear report from senior year with your new grades, including midterms, or just your semester average. The second half of senior year doesn't matter as much, as long as your grades stay high enough that you don't get your offer rescinded.</p>
<p>They see the cumulative GPA from freshman to junior year. They then separately see the first semester grades of senior year, which doesn't go into the GPA that they see.</p>
