stupid questions

im assuming Economics major(College of Letters, Arts, Sciences) is not a business major? and i probably know that it is not, but what would their economics major be ranked in the nation then?

Is there even a finance major? All their business majors are administration

USC Catalogue: Undergraduate Education: Undergraduate Degree Programs : Degree Programs

Marshall has a business administration major where you specify a concetration for your major such as finance, marketing, international business, etc.

Economics is considered a social science and by definition is not a business major. Generally you will see econ taught in the college of arts and sciences at a university.

thanks

does anyone know how hard it is to transfer into marshall school of business? o and also i noticed a thread where people were talking about concentration going away or something. please elaborate on concentrated majors? TIA

[USC Marshall Degree Program Senior Concentration](http://www.marshall.usc.edu/undergradprograms/degrees/senior-concentration.htm)

I’d advise you read through the Marshall website as it will answer many of the questions you most likely have. In regards to the other thread, it is most likely a rumor as there is no logical reason for them to get rid of concentrations as they are simply made to give students a rough guideline to which courses they should take for the field of business they are interested in.

There are several old transfer threads you can search where students will report if they were accepted or denied admission along with their student profile (gpa/exam scores/ec’s)
