So I was planning on applying to Smith, Wellesley and Mount Holyoke for Spring '07, so they'd see my grades from spring and summer semester and my schedule for fall. I want a little more distance from a less than stellar high school career (GPA 3.6/ ACT 30). However, Smith is my first choice and its free to apply online and I would rather start in the fall. If I applied and got rejected would I have a more difficult time getting in for spring? Thanks

No, you'll be fine.

Applying twice is ok. I did it for UPENN and it worked. Don't worry. :)
