So I just got the final grades for my math class. I missed getting the A I really needed by .6%
3 points!!!!!!
And there's no way I can get higher than a C in spanish... IF I pass.
This semester has completely killed my GPA!
this makes my college course GPA a 2.6!
That will look GREAT to the admissions offices!!!!

lol, thanks for bumping my venting thread.
I'd completely forgotten about it.
Now I can give you the happy conclusion to this thread.
My amazing math teacher gave me the extra 3 points I needed.
The spanish professor (probably realizing she'd never keep her job if only two people passed) made my grade a B.
While B's may not be overly great, I'm still really happy.
And I'm actually already admitted to my colleges, I was just worried about losing my scholarships due to the low GPA.

Feh. Why're you complainin'? I've got a "B" in Honors English, because the teacher doesn't weigh grades (100 on a 100 question test is the same as 100 on a daily quiz). One quiz question during the Moby Dick unit (no joke) was:

What is the difference between rope on a whaling ship and normal rope?
A) Whaling ship ropes are made of hemp and have more tar.
B) Whaling ship ropes are made of hemp and have less tar.
C) Whaling ship ropes are made of yarn and have more tar.
D) Whaling ship ropes are made of yarn and have less tar.

Needless to say, I had a lot of trouble with the quizzes, as did everyone else in the class. And what's more, the totally irrelevant (to English) project comprise fifty percent of the grade!

hey vegan atleast ur accepted. I'm applying to NYU Tisch which was a big reach for me, and I got three D's frst quarter and this quarter i'm raising my averages by like 2 points! wth! I've been trying very hard too. :(

Im looking at straight A's with a B in parenting because apparently I killed the plastic baby that is COMPLETLY UNREALISTIC when I took it home :0( I SOOO Need to ACE my Parenting Final...which im good at other than taking the babies home so its all good :0)

lol, I'm so glad I've never had to deal with one of those!
they're so fake.
There was recently a girl in my area who got into a bad car wreck because her fake baby started crying.

I didn't shake it at all thats the thing...its programed as a newborn but is the size of a 3 month old...i know how to take care of kids...I have 5 younger siblings, one of them who is a special needs baby and you have to be VERY careful with so I know how to take care of a baby! It just makes me all GRRR that it said I failed seriously...GRRR...LOL...
