Stupidest Myths about Colleges!!

You have a lot of free time...

I DON'T!

^haha, really? I think I have too much...

although that'll definitely change next semester :(

"And even if you arent' one to drop everything for a road trip on a random tuesday, or to be at the bars every other night, or do whatever you deem fun all the time, can't you at least appreciate the chance to grow as a person, explore a variety of subjects you likely won't ever have the chance to delve into again, or to find a new passion? If college really sucks for you that much, I believe you need to reevaluate just why you aren't enjoying it."

haha, maybe I need to do that! I don't really like my college life either, and I know why. It is because I stress out a lot! I know you are suppose to challenage yourself in college. you should explore your options.,, and all that other good stuff. But the truth is, i have no other option! I never liked school, even since I was little. I am only going to college, so I can get a good job to bring my parents out of the hell they are living in right now! haha, if I had the option, i would have been an art major or a tourism major, instead of pre-med.. why? coz my family be damn if i am an art major and not make any money! I also believe not everyone goes to college because they want to learn, I think there are people out there that are just like me..

ha sorry, i am just really stress out because of finals, excuse my lanugage.

Myth: It's tough to make an A.

Fact: Professors have to keep the grades reasonable so by just doing the hw and reviewing class notes before an exam you can maintain top of the class grades which are curved into an A.

Myth: It's tough to get to know your professors

Fact: If you really want to get to know your profs, it's easy, fun and EXTREMELY beneficial. Most freshman at humongous state schools (like the one I attend) have no prof interaction, but I'm already doing research with one of mine. Just a matter of how much interest you take in his/her teachings and them personally.

i though it was tough to make an A

and dearsiryes, aren't you a hs sr?

It is extremely tough to get an A, well at least in my classes at my school.

Oh, my favorite myth...

"I have to go to grad school right after undergrad."

The myth that if you don't live on campus, you won't enjoy college at all.

What a load of crock that turned out to be. I'm commuting and I couldn't be happier with my current housing situation.

yep it'll definately change! Once you're in your entrance to major courses or advanced level courses you have to devote loads of time to studying.

I do, however, get some free time on the weekends/friday night to chill out.
