Stupidest Question to be ever asked on CC

<p>Ok, this one's definitely competing for the title of the 'Stupid-est question to be ever asked on CC'.....but you gotta ask what you gotta ask- so here goes-</p>

<p>I'm an international applicant completely baffled about which address to fill in the Common App and university supplements- my mailing address or my home address. </p>

<p>Thing is, down here where I live the norm isn't really to post letters to home addresses, but rather most correspondence is mailed to post boxes. However, in the Common App the 'address' space has been labelled so as to fit a home address - for eg 'Number and Street', 'Apartment #', 'State/Province', etc. </p>

<p>So my question is- shall I fill in my home address or my postal address (that is P.O. box number) without caring about those labels?</p>

<p>well id say fill in your home address. but you should write about your problem to the schools concerned and inform them of the difficulties and then give them a correspondence address for sending parcels and letters and stuff. hope this helps.</p>
