i slacked off in high school. but i had a major injury in winter of 'o4

I'd say my essay on how that injury impacted my hs career was brilliant.
my gpa was not so good because i saw no meaning in life in a near fatal injury (sledding, head to a tree, coma for 3 days, shattered skull, hematoma, etc.)

gpa = 2.9/3.0
sat = 2050 (proves something)

rejected from....
bu, gw, nyu, upenn, ucsd, ucla, cal

waitlisted on
bc, fordham

ucr asked for a transcript.

someone tell me *** is going on.

(and extracurriculurs i was part of my church student council for 2 years, president this year, and my church's hs group is about 250 students)

2020 SAT Accepted everywhere except harvard... including UVA Vanderbilt Boston U William and Mary

Good extra-curriculars AKA having a passion/ URM/ great essays and recs/ just overall good application that highlighted my three hooks got me into my schools.

Btw... a 2000 isn't a low score =P Anything above an 1800 is fine... it's just that CC'ers are insanely competitive..
