sub 2000 SAT, impossible to go ivy?

impossible with any SAT sub-2000?

but godly everything else, im talkin about a one-of-a-kind applicant

lol....................

Well if you are one-of-a-kind, then obviously not.

Define "godly."

You better have like a 4.1 uw, lol.

what if you get 800M 800 CR 390 W (this year) and 800 on the writing SAT II??

you guys are kiddin? so basically anything less than 2000 shouldnt even bother applying ivy?

you can apply but you have a very low chance of gettin in

How can you be one-of-a-kind and still explain your low score? Maybe I just don't understand...

That's equal to about a 1330 old SAT. BUT, if you look at the 25-75 percentile for students at ivys, you hit some of them, for example: UPenn is 1330-1510 and Cornell is 1280-1470. So they aren't entirely out of the question, just make sure your recs/grades/ECs/essays are bulletproof.

actually, according to US News, last year

Cornell 1290-1490
UPenn 1330-1500

I thought Penn started at 1310 for 25% - 50%

Might try some Patriot League Schools like Holy Cross, Bucknell or Lafayette.

I used the US News 2005 edition...is there a 2006 one?

i think the 2006 one recently came out

you kidding me guys??
there are many people who get into ivy's with low sats,,
gpa, essay, ecs,,, they are all important,,

Yup, heyyoyo, you got it dead on if you exchange the word "many" with "a few"

yup, dooit, you got it dead on if you exchange the word "a few" with "football players"

well then it wouldn't make sense anymore :)

there are football players people who get into ivy's with low sats,,
gpa, essay, ecs,,, they are all important,,

i think you meant to say lacrosse players

smart people humor! ahhhhhhhh!

Um URM, if you are a Native American, you can go as lowwww as you want. Hey, write your name and the adcom will be so impressed that you actually applied that they will accept you. I actually would not doubt the adcom just accepts every native american that applies-- call it "merit-blind" admissions.
