I took 2 subject tests, math and US History, and sent them to UPenn and Cornell before I got my scores back. I ended up doing horribly, 680 on Math 2 and 740 on US History. Now, I realize that the subject tests aren’t even required for Cornell (I’m applying to Dyson)! I have a 1520 on the sat with a 770 on the math section, I just didn’t know trig well enough for the math 2 test because I’m currently in pre-cal. Will my bad subject test scores be considered at Cornell and kill my chances?
If they aren’t required, I have heard from some colleges, I don’t know the specifics on cornell, that they will only use them if they benefit your application (although I could be wrong).
