SUBJECT TEST reporting!!! yay

Hey guys,

I just had a quick question. I plan on applying early to HYP (one of the 3), and had a question about the reporting of Subject test scores.

So far, I've taken 5 subject tests... and here are my scores.

800 Math II
800 Chem
800 Physics
780 Biology M
740 U.S. History

So I know that only 2-3 subject tests are required to submit to these colleges, and I definitely plan on submitting math, chem, physics, and bio. But for the U.S. History, do you think that sending the score would detract or help my case? I can choose not to send it officially via score choice, but I don't want to seem sneaky or whatever by not submitting it. On the other hand, I feel like I would look like an overall better applicant without the 740. idk

Anyways, I would appreciate some honest advice!

Thanks!

also, do colleges see whether you’ve used score choice or not?

Yale requires you to send all scores. Also, none of your scores are low enough to be worried about submitting them.

College Board does not provide anything to colleges to show you have exercised score choice. Howeveryour high school may be like many which put all your scores on your official high school transcript.

all right, thank you so much for your helpful reply drusba!

Anyone have any other advice/opinions?

Send them all. Your US History is different from the others (non math/science).

FYI: 800 in Math II is 99+ percentile
800 Chem 95
800 Physics 92
780 Biology M 95
740 U.S. History 90

Correction: 80 on Math I is 99th percentile, on Math II it is 91st percentile.
