Subject test Required?

Can someone please enlighten me?
Im applying for Business economics/public policy at many universities, those that recommend subject tests (eg Princeton).

Knowing that a recommendation from the university is basically a demand if you can afford it, is it possible that being an IB student they may be more lenient if i dont take a subject test. As IB is a more rigorous course

Grades

Physics HL: 7
ITGS HL: 7
English HL: 7
Math SL: 7
Chem SL: 7
French: 6

I also have two specialization courses I have completed via Coursera, both 100+ hours in Investment portfolio management and Finance

Would I still have a good chance at the Ivy league that recommends subject tests if i have those grades? Because i really dont have the time, are my chances seriously low as a result?

You have a “chance me” thread where you reported subject test scores. Did you actually not take those?

Other applicants find the time. You’ll be judged against them.

No.

You can interpret “recommended” as you wish, but if a college offers X in lieu of Y, then they will say so. If they don’t say, then they don’t.

So is AP. But neither is equivalent to a Subject Test.

Agree with the comments above. Your application will be at a disadvantage if your do not take the recommended subject tests. You need to understand that a)The top colleges have admissions rates of under 10% (some under 5%) and b) any viable candidate will have taken a very rigorous HS courseload c) the vast majority of candidates will have made time and expended the effort necessary to take the SAT II exams and to do well on them.

And please explain exactly what you have. Your posts are all over the map and many are filled with half of the story – that is a disservice to the volunteers who come here and try to help. Please let us know what tests you have taken.
