So only two universities out of all the ones I am applying to really care about the SAT subject tests, UCB and UCLA. While I am aware they are optional, I am applying for the engineering school for UCLA and they suggested sending in the Physics and Math II subject tests, citing it was "highly recommended, but not required." I am applying to UCSD too, but to my knowledge no subject tests were recommended for admission. I am doing computer science, but under UCB its in the College of Arts and Sciences, not the engineering school, so they don't suggest I send subject test scores anyway under that school.

I'll cut to the chase now, my subject test scores were really bad. I took them without much care and I signed up at the last minute, as I had a really good ACT (33).

Math II: 630
Physics: 550

Now the thing is, for the UC app I said I planned on taking these tests in advance. Considering how bad these scores are, should I not send them even though I said I'll plan on taking them? Will sending these scores only hurt my chances or just not help at all? Math II isn't completely awful I suppose, but I know physics is abysmal. I'm not really worried, as these UC schools are the only universities that care about subject tests for me and for UT Austin, getting a 600+ on Math II gives me credit for a math class, so it is not a total loss.

What do you guys think I should do? Send these? Forget about them? Thanks and sorry for the grammar of this post I am in rush as I type this. Thanks again.
