Applying to UVA (in state). They have subject tests optional (they’ve stressed that they’ve changed the wording, recommended to strictly optional to lessen the stress), but the presenter for my campus tour said 2 subject tests are good, to show I tried.
My subject test scores are horrible, should I even bother sending them in? Math 2 640, US History 560
I didn’t prepare well enough for these, obviously and I don’t have another chance to retake since it’s too late. 
And they would have to be both sent since I took them the same test date…
I have an 800 in SAT I Math, so I feel this would only hurt me.
Should I still send it in to let them know I at least tried a couple of subject tests? Uva is fairly competitive so I’m worried.
