Subject Tests Cancellation under the Yale Policy?

So, I just had a terrible letdown. I was expecting an 800 on Math II, because I felt sooo confident after I took that test, and I ended up with a 710, which is really not acceptable for a Yale or Princeton where I'd like to go. I did end up with a 710 on both CB practice tests, so I should have seen this coming, but after I took those practice tests, I studied very intensively and felt great walking out of the test room. I'm generally very good at math, but unfortunately, I tend to fall easily into the College Board's traps.

I'm basing this off of Yale under the new policy where we have to submit every score. My question is - should I retake and study even harder (even though I studied non-stop for like a good two weeks), or would I be able to do well on my other three other subject tests (US, Spanish, Chem) and then just leave the Math II score there. With this new Yale policy, there's no canceling, right?

Thanks.

X_X No cancelling.

Personally, as another SCEA’er who also has one weak score, I would leave the math and focus on the other tests. 710 is at the 68th percentile, which isn’t mind-blowing, but isn’t exactly “really not acceptable,” especially if that won’t be your major. If you really want to focus on math and love the subject, study more for it and take it instead of one of your other potential tests. You don’t need four tests. As I learned, you shouldn’t take one to gauge where you are if you’re really not sure you’ve mastered the material.
