I'm planning on applying early decision to Cornell University. I have two questions:
1) Will applying to two colleges within the university (for instance, CALS and Arts and Sciences) help my chances?
2) When is the last time I could take my subject tests? I have them planned for November. I have already taken one (French) and scored a 740, but I am kind of new to this whole college process and so are my parents so I didn't realize I should've taken two. Anyways, do you think November would work if I rush the scores as well?
Thanks so much! My first choice is CALS and second is Arts and Sciences. CALS does not require subject tests, but Arts and Sciences does, that's why I want to have them just in case.

October is the latest for nov 1 early i think.
I would take the additional tests because if you get deferred they could make a big difference.

Cornell accepts Nov SAT test date for early decision. To assure the scores arrive in time to be considered you must designate Cornell as a college to be sent scores in your test application and you cannot wait to decide to send them until after the scores come out. In other words you do not order a “rush” sending of the scores. Designating the college in your test application as one of your free sends is in fact the fastest form of delivery and is in fact faster than doing a “rush” order.
