Subject Tests for Credit

I'm currently a senior who is headed to Tech next fall and had a question about getting college credit.

In addition to AP tests, they also accept two Subject Tests, English and Chemistry. I did not take the SAT English Subject Test, but decided I want to try and get out of English Comp I. I was wondering if anyone knew if they allowed Subject Test scores this late (I'd be taking the June test). It would make sense to me that they would, but I could also see why they wouldn't allow it. Just curious if anyone knew the deadline for SAT Subject Test scores strictly for college credit or if anyone knew where to contact them for confirmation.

im sure if they are done and scored before FASET they will count. As long as you send them directly to Tech. Im doing the Chem subject Test too in may a long with my AP exam.

I was thinking about doing that as well… is English Test the same as Literature test?

Yes. I should have said Literature, but when I typed it just after looking on their site, which said English.

yea I saw the site too, which said English so I was confused, thanks for clearing it up

Does anyone know who we should contact about this? Admissions?

You should call the Registrar. [Georgia Tech: Registrar: Home](http://www.registrar.gatech.edu)

I contacted them and it looks like we were right - it’s okay to take them now for credit.
