Subject Tests Questions...

I'm a rising junior, and I'm just starting to think about my subject tests. I'm planning on taking 3: Chemistry, Biology (M), and Math II. So far in high school, I've taken one year of both Chemistry and Biology and will be taking IB Chem and IB Bio - similar to AP - next year. In math, I just finished Algebra II and will be taking IB PreCalc.

Based on this, I was wondering when I should take each and how I should study for them - I'm going to be aiming for 800s btw.

Lastly, this is coming from a guy who gets low to mid 2300s on SAT practice tests, so I'm really motivated on doing well.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You can take the math now.

Take Bio and Chem in June 2014 after taking the two courses.

Thank that actually helps. Does someone else who was in my situation have any other suggestions?

I suggest taking Math II after taking Pre-calc. That’s what I did, and what most juniors do at my school. It works pretty well. I blew through it easily, with no problems. I studied by only taking 1 or 2 practice tests.

AP courses should prepare you quite nicely for your subject tests.
