Subject tests reporting and when to take Math 2

Hi,

I have two questions and need some clarifications…

For two subject tests taken on the same day, say Math 2 and Chem, and if the college allows score choice, can a student just report the Math and not the Chem?

I have read a number of times that a student can take Math 2 after pre-cal, but can the student take Math 2 in April during the year of taking pre-cal? I think it depends on what has not been covered right? School finishes in June for us, therefore there will be two months of material missing.

I am thinking to register my kid to take Math 2 in April, then Chem in May after AP Chem, if college board were to report all subject tests taken on the same day…but wonder whether it is worth the risk…I don’t think she wants to take the Math 2 in June as it is normally the date after the junior prom.

thanks

Yes.

There is no April Test, so the options are May or June. Regardless of when she takes, there may still be some gaps with the classroom material, so getting a prep book is probably a good idea.

thanks. I am just concerned after the AP exams, she has no time to prep for both SAT 2, but if you can just report one, then I am okay if she takes both on the same day.

There really should be minimal prep for chem if she’s prepping for the AP exam simultaneously, IMO.

I sure hope so and it may be true based on everything I read…but just that I do know whether she would prep for AP LOL…
