So I have to sign up for the May subject test today, and I have a fee waiver which can cover all 3 subject tests in one day
I plan on taking 2, maybe 3 if I feel comfortable enough for all 3 as the test day nears. Should I sign up for 3 and just not take one on test day? That way if I do decide to take all 3, I'll be covered whereas if I signed up for 2 and took an extra on test day I'll be billed and have to pay.

So is it 100% okay to sign up for 3 even if you are likely only taking 2?

Since you have dee waiver, why not sign up for 3. You can decide on the test day whether to take the third one.

I actually called college board today regarding a similar question. My son signed up for US History for May 4th. Today he decided to take Physics also. I called college board and they informed me that since he is already registered (fee waiver) for one test, he can decide to take more on test day if he so chooses, up to three. The fee waiver will cover all 3 tests and scores, etc. All you have to do on testing day is inform them what tests you will take. Easy Peasy ;)

ps - one fee waiver will cover the cost of 3 tests and scores
