I posted this on the High School Life forum, but I realized that this forum is more appropriate. Anyway, I'm taking biology honors next year. Would I be able to take the biology subject test or is the test based on AP Biology? Also, if I were to take the subject test in 9th grade, would colleges still count my score or will it expire?

Bump…

Unless your Bio Honors class goes into an unusual level of detail, take the Bio subject test after AP Bio.

AP isn’t exactly the same as SAT II, but the two are on a comparable level. SAT IIs tend to test a little more detail than their corresponding APs.

Take a look at some actual Bio SAT II questions.
