subject tests

will taking three subject tests instead of the required two advantage applicants in any way at all? Also is would a 780 in math level 2 be considered lower than caltechs standard math score?

Thanks in advance

a. I don't really know, but I highly doubt any advantage it'd give would be at all significant.

b. 780 is fine. I had less than that on all of my Math SAT's (SAT, Ic, IIc).

i viewed my score this morning, still shaking after the revelation..
Math 1 - 760
(changed my mind , was suppose to do biology but still looks redudant)
Math 2 - 760
Chemistry - 800

Are these in range of caltech/ any top tire schools?

I am not sure about the numbers, but the middle 50% of scores are somehere between 740 - 800 for math and 720 -790 for science

whatever they are, 760+ is definitely within the range
