<p>Hey, I'm interning with a prof @ princeton and trying to find housing for the month of August. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking at craigslist central NJ; what towns/cities are walking/bus/train distance from campus? Do any students know some affordable rooms, motels, or maybe extended stay hotels around princeton?</p>

<p>hey guys, thanks for the really helpful responses. Anyways, one fine person pmed me and told me to check out eating clubs. Right now, colonial and charter are looking for tenants. I emailed both clubs and I can live in rooms in either one. The rates are comparable. Which does CC recommend?</p>
<p>both are very nice clubhouses…very comparable. You can’t really go wrong with either of them. Charter is a little farther away from campus than Colonial, unless you’re interning with an engineering professor, in which case Charter is your choice. I haven’t been in the officer’s bedrooms in either club (those are the rooms you’ll be staying in), but I assume they’re similar.</p>
<p>Colonial’s 3rd floor is reputedly nicer than Charter’s. Charter’s main clubhouse is nicer though.</p>
