Submission date for scholarship deadline is weird on the common app

For some reason, on the Dashboard of Common App, it says I submitted my USC app on December 2nd even though it's not December 2nd ET yet. However, underneath the actual USC tab on "My Colleges" it says that I submitted my applications at 8:30 and 9:45 ET on December 1st.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Does this mean I may have missed the scholarship deadline?

I would trust the actual USC tab over the common app. You could also contact USC and make sure.

USC will look at the submission time in Pacific Time— the Common App usually lists stuff in Eastern Time (East coast bias, sigh). Don’t worry :)

Just more screwed up Comm App stuff. USC will understand.

As camomof3 says, The Common App uses an Eastern Time time stamp. USC uses Pacific time. So submissions tonight up to 11:59pm Pacific time will have an up to 2:59am, Dec 2 time stamp - which is fine (and has been consistent since USC switched to the common app 3 years ago).

So sleep well!

^^Except he filed when it still was Dec 1 on the East Coast. Just a problem with the Common App.

There are instructions here https://appsupport.commonapp.org/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=1629&hitOffset=74+47+46+17&docID=4011</a> to see your submission time. It seems this year the display is “Coordinated Universal Time” (I have never before heard of this…), but they have instructions to see your submission time.
