Submission Deadline Late?... I'm worried

I feel really stupid that this is even an issue. As I tried to submit my app to a school with a Dec 31 deadline before midnight, the CommonApp website stalled and presumably crashed. I couldn't upload my essay. Then I couldn't submit. Blah blah blah. I finally got everything to work... at 12:01. Needless to say, I'm not happy. Does anyone know what the school will do in this case? After all, it still accepted everything (my application and fee). Does anyone have experience with this? I'm really upset with myself.

join the club…

I presume this happens every year. Don’t sweat out about it so much. They are care about your profile, not the fact that you missed the deadline by one minute.

If you finished all your applications, congratulations. If you still have some left (because the deadline is later), focus on those. Happy New Years.

if you have your supplemt submitted first then you are fine, this happened to me with Yale.

There’s a grace period. 12:01 AM falls within that grace period. Don’t worry.

Thanks everyone. After I posted this I thought about it and came to the same conclusion. Hearing other people say it is comforting though. Haha. Happy New Years!

How long is that grace period? I only submitted it by 1 am… which means an hour later.

I posted a thread about this as well except mine is going to be submitted a couple of HOURS after the deadline hahah! Yea so I wouldn’t worry about 2 little minutes my friend.
