S submitted to 3 colleges on tues; Kenyon ED, another school EA, and the last RD. He received confirmation and his portals from two schools by the next day. Still nothing from Kenyon however. Just wondering if anyone else has submitted & how long it took to get your portal.
My D submitted to 5 colleges in early October. All, except Kenyon, sent an email within 48 hours with portal login info. Not sure why Kenyon is so slow. It’s been 2 weeks without any acknowledgement that they received her application.
@riverboat Have you called? S wants to submit for a scholarship & the only way to do so is thru their portal… waiting 2 weeks for the portal would be cutting it very close!
D has not called. She is also applying for one of their scholarships but the deadline isn’t until the RD deadline in January so she’s not worried. I’m the one that is getting antsy!
Haha!! Yeah, I’m more concerned than he is. He applied ED though, so if he’s accepted, he wil be given his financial aid packet as well. All of his other schools required scholarship materials to be submitted at the ED deadline.
@riverboat Called and spoke to admissions. Lovely people BTW, so don’t feel discouraged to call if you have a question. Anyway, portals will be live this weekend or monday at the latest. Financial Aid is waiting for a software update, then their end can get started.
