submit 2 SIR just in case admissions revoked at UCLA

After reporting a change in my academics, it would take UCLA 15 working days to make a decision on whether or not it will affect my admissions since it is provisional.

THE PROBLEM is that if I submit my SIR for UCLA which is before 15 days, and UCLA decides to revoke my admissions, then I'll be screwed.

The admissions advisor at UCLA told me I can submit a SIR to UCSD and then after UCLA has made a decision, they will give me a new SIR date and I can then submit it to UCLA and cancel UCSD SIR. However, i don't quite think that is credible since it did say that only ONE SIR can be submitted. Is that even possible? Is anyone finding themselves in the same situation?

What do I do? I can't take a risk on UCLA or else I'll have no where to go if they rescind, but I really want to go there since it's my dream school.

"Is that even possible?"

Yes.

CC counselors are traditionally dubious; the UCLA advisor seems to have given you good advice.

wow you can do that?

Of course. Each UC doesn't know if you have submitted a SIR to another one. You can do it: the main risk is losing $100, and of course, it is not encouraged, but in a situation like hers it makes sense.
