Should I submit a 29 ACT (35E 33 M 21 R 28 S) or a 790 BIO M, 760 Chem, and a (3) AP language and composition. I know my ACT is at the 25th for Brandeis, and I would like to know if Brandeis prefers applicants who submitted their ACT/SAT over the combo of tests.
I’d suggest using the ACT.
My guess is that Brandeis prefers whatever shows the most breadth of accomplishment. Your ACT shows them you are excellent in English and math, very good in science, and (somewhat oddly) didn’t do well on a reading test. Your other three scores show them you are excellent in science and OK in English.
If you had (let’s say) three 760s in a social science, a science, and a foreign language, then it probably would have been better going with that.
