<p>I'm at the "Signature" screen of the Common App right now with the 3-4 check boxes on it. I am using the Common App's online Teacher and Counselor recommendations. Can I click "Submit" BEFORE my teacher/counselor have completed these, or do I have to wait until they finish them?</p>
<p>You should submit your application, so that the colleges will set up a file for you and the recommendations will not be lost.</p>

<p>Once you’ve invited the recommenders and assigned them to the appropriate schools, your part is done, and you can go ahead and submit your application. Once the rec has been sent, the status in the school forms section will either say “submitted” or “downloaded by college,” so you will know that it has been sent to the proper schools.</p>
<p>You’ll also notice that the option to delete will be removed once those letters have been received.</p>
