Submit College Transcript for Application?

<p>I took a course on my high school's campus for college credit from a local state university. It costs hundreds of dollars to send the transcript to all the schools to which I am applying. Need I send it for my application to be complete? Can I just send it in May to the school that I decide to attend?</p>
