Submit SAT only or ACT too?

I have a 1540 SAT (740 EBRW + 800 Math) and 33 ACT (35E 34M 28R 35S). A lot of my schools have much higher ACT median scores so I won’t be submitting my ACT score to them, just SAT. But UNC Chapel Hill apparently has 75th ACT score right at 33. Should I submit my ACT scores then? The only reason I’m considering this is the near-perfect English and science scores. Would it be necessary?

Remember that UNC’s stats may largely reflect in-state applicants – they take about 80% in-state for freshmen. So the ACT score average reflects a lot of in-state applicants. If you are out of state, you will probably be expected to have higher scores than an in-state student, just because only 20% of the slots are left for the remaining 49 states (and international students). Assuming you’re applying from out of state, I’d send the higher score, which in your case is the SAT according to the concordance tables. Good luck!
