Submit SAT or ACT to Georgetown?

Hi everyone,

I’m thinking of applying to Georgetown in the fall, but they don’t accept writing SAT scores. My CR is a 730 and M is a 720, so nothing exceptional for this school. The 800 W I got really would have helped me, but since they don’t take it should I submit a 33 ACT instead? The SAT scores would be average (I think) and a 33 is on their upper end I believe. Which would give me more of a competitive advantage in the admissions process?

Thanks!

Better to just submit both, I think. Providing additional datapoints is usually helpful, especially when they’re in the target range.

You should submit both the SAT and ACT scores. They are decent scores and will show a fuller picture of you.

I agree with above posters. Submit both SAT and ACT. Neither test will hurt you

I also agree with the above posters. DS who just graduated from the College in the class of 2015 submitted both. The SAT was in the 2150 range and ACT was 34. The SAT averaged about 720 - 730 per section.
