I've heard that it takes 5 weeks to send scores, and I've heard that if you take the October SAT it'll still be OK for early apps. I'm ready to send my subjects, but I'm retaking the real SAT in October. Should I send my subjects and my current SAT? Or wait until I took my new SAT because I'm confident that I'll have done better with that one and some of my early schools superscore but one looks at all.

I am also taking the October SAT and I have decided to blind send my test scores because I really want to apply early action to all my schools. If you definitely think you will do better on the Oct SAT I would blind send it as well ASAP because you don’t want to risk getting moved into the RD pool because your test scores came in late

Check with the school(s) you are applying early to. I wouldn’t blind send your scores if you aren’t 100% confident that you’ll improve, except maybe for the school that looks at all scores. Some schools accept the November test for early applicants, in which case you definitely don’t need to blind send.

You really need to check with each school you are going to apply EA. For many schools that accept Oct SAT score, you may not have a chance to look at the score before deciding to send or not. In other words, you would have to send them blindly in that case. Many schools would not process your application if they do not receive your score by the deadline. In that case, you should send in your current scores now while waiting for the pending score. For schools that allow a couple weeks of grace period for supporting document, you may just make use of the free score reports for SAT1/SAT2 scores from the October test.
