Would you suggest submitting, or not, 760 Literature (94th percentile) and 720 Math Level 2 (66th percentile), SAT 2 Subject Test scores?

ACT was 33 so I don't have to submit SAT subject tests. GPA is 3.6 unweighted in highly competitive Texas high school. Good essays, great teacher recs, and good ECs. No UMR or other legs to stand on.

Applying to school of humanities or social sciences, not engineering or natural sciences.

Antarius, is there data available about the distribution of Rice’s SAT Subject Matter Test scores?

I have seen the middle 50% ranges for the SAT and the ACT, but never for the various subject matter tests.

Would 720 on the Math Level 2 Subject Test be low for Rice humanities or social sciences admits?

I am not sure. I do know that a 33 ACT is a perfectly good score to get in to Rice. As a result, don’t worry about the SAT II subject tests

Also, the issue with the 720 is not the score but the percentile. 66th percentile is below the average for Rice.

I’d say send in your ACT score.

Send in ACT scores.
