I have no idea if they will still look at your scholarship application, but a deadline is a deadline and you missed it. I sure wouldn’t count on getting anythng.</p>

<p>I talked to them today, because I still didn’t submit my app. They said that even if the applytexas application is submitted 2 minutes after the 11:59 pm deadline, you won’t be considered for any applytexas scholarships.</p>
<p>Idk, maybe she was just saying that and colleges are lazier than we think. But then again, the application is completed online.</p>
<p>you had 122 days to submit the application for scholarships, 1/3 of a year to get the application for scholarship. There has to be a cut off time. I don’t think the scholarship dept is the lazy one here.</p>

<p>I don’t know about ApplyTexas, but for some applications, if you submit like a day after the postmark deadline, they usually accept it.</p>
<p>And if it is any consolation, the scholarships are extremely difficult to get in general so unless you are a stand out student the application may yield nothing in return which was the case for many of my friends. However it is nice to be in the running in the first place. </p>
<p>Dont expect a scholarship or even consideration for one. I agree somewhat that the admin here at A&M can be very slow and at times lazy (from my dealings with them), but it is no excuse for the fact that it was late and ultimately they have the control whether they are lazy or not.</p>

and I already received my acceptance letter, and I am in “reviewal” for scholarships! I called the admid office, and apparently there was a 5 minute lag in the system, so they gave a 10 minute grace period I believe!</p>
