I submitted my DD’s 36 ACT to Brown. Should I also submit her subject tests of 800 Math II and Spanish 780 or leave well enough alone?
My daughter also took the ACT. We submitted her SAT Subject test scores. I can’t see why NOT to submit them. Costs a little money but shows even more proficiency. And the nice Spanish score shows a different kind of accomplishment. Of course, I’m just a parent!
Thank you @profdad2021
First, I hope your daughter submitted her ACT score. She’s the one applying, not you.
Second – given that ACT score, she doesn’t need to submit anything else. I doubt her SAT subject test scores will be the difference between an acceptance and a denial. But if she wants to submit them, she certainly can.
I would have your D submit those, unless Brown requires that if you submit any SAT score that she submit them all and if her SAT I wasn’t a great score. (Hope that makes sense.)
@fireandrain - thanks for the advice. Actually, submitting scores is the only part of the process I am allowed to do. I would love access to the portals to verify that all information is received but it is not to be. @suzy100 DD never took the SAT after being one and done with the ACT.
Definitely submit them
